English  |  español Life is a journey filled with unexpected turns. Those unexpected turns might leave you unsettled and unsure of what would be the next road for you to take. As a practitioner, my goal is to empower clients reach their potential and wellbeing. I believe each person has inner strengths that once tapped into, is the driving force that helps them reach stability. As a Latina immigrant, I am bilingual in Spanish with more than 18 years of experience working with families and children from diverse cultural backgrounds facing a variety of issues. Some of those include depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. I have worked with families seeking reunification as well as moms who face challenges of juggling life with their babies plus dealing with postpartum depression. I integrate a collaborative approach using different modalities such as CBT, DBT, and strengths-based. Many clients have shared they were hesitant to seek help because they believed the myth that by doing so, it meant they were “crazy”. I can assure you that you are not crazy and quite the contrary, you are brave by reaching out. Today can be a new beginning for you!
